L’échange Crypto.com envoie 347 millions de dollars en ETH par erreur à une adresse sur Gate.io

Exchange Crypto.com sends $400 million in ETH by mistake to an address on Gate.io instead of cold wallet

Quelques jours avant de révéler leur réserves, Crypto.com a envoyé par erreur environ 285 000 ETH, d’une valeur de plus de 347 millions de dollars, sur Gate.io, un autre échange de crypto, au lieu de les envoyer à une adresse de portefeuille froid. Ils ont depuis réussi à récupérer les fonds envoyés.
Une erreur similaire a été commise en octobre, avec 320 000 ETH cette fois, provoquant des rumeurs de falsification de la preuve de réserve de Gate.io publiée le 28 octobre.
