104 BTC liés à QuadrigaCX ont été transférés pour la première fois en trois ans

104 QuadrigaCX-related BTC moved for the first time in three years

Le 16 décembre dernrier, 104 Bitcoins de QuadrigaCX, l’échange canadien qui a fait faillite en 2019 après le décès de son fondateur Gerald Cotten, ont été transférés pour la première fois depuis 2019. Il s’était avéré que le fondateur avait transféré les fonds des clients vers des portefeuilles froids dont lui seul avait les clés privées pour y accéder.
Les 104 bitcoins avaient été accidentellement envoyés dans les cold wallets par Ernst & Young, qui avait été nommé contrôleur des actifs de QuadrigaCX.
Ce transfert ravive les théories selon lesquelles Cotten pourrait être encore en vie.
