What was yet another joke from Vitalik Buterin on Twitter has now given birth to two meme coins. As soon as Vitalik posted about a hypothetical project called “The Protocol”, developers started working on $THE. Another tweet from Ethereum’s founder resulted in the birth of $DIE (“The” in German). The latter has seen its value grow by more than 5,500% in less than 24 hours.
