Former President Trump, who has always been a skeptic in regards to crypto, calling Bitcoin a « scam » back in June 2021, launched his own NFT collection on Polygon. The 45,000 NFTs, depicting Trump sold out within hours of the launch. Devised as trading cards, making for a « great Christmas gift » according to the former president, with some NFTs depicting him as a superhero.
Although the floor price is 0,183 ETH, some of these NFTs already sold for more than 4 ETH. Those who bought the NFT automatically entered a sweepstake to win prizes, from a dinner with Trump to zoom calls.
